Dave Stoler is one of Wisconsin's busiest jazz musicians. From leading his own swinging trio to performing with the Tony Castaneda Latin Jazz Band (named Madison's favorite jazz band for ten straight years by Isthmus Magazine). In addition, Dave has performed with his quartet and trio at Smalls Jazz Club, located in New York City. In 2009, he was named "Jazz Personality of the Year" by Madison's Isthmus Jazz Festival. He was a semi finalist in the Thelonious Monk Competition, the American Jazz Piano Competition and the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition. He received a Master of Music Degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Miami-Coral Gables.
